Results Policy

Bellarine Medical Group has a system in replace for the follow up of test results.

You can expect your test results to be processed within a week and your Doctor will explain the process of how you will be informed in the event of an abnormal result.

If your Doctor needs to speak to you about your results you will receive an SMS message.

IT IS SAFE TO OPEN THIS LINK AND ENTER YOUR DETAILS AS REQUIRED TO READ THE MESSAGE

You will be asked to make a 5 minute ‘non-urgent results’ telephone appointment.  This can be done by following the link in the message and booking online or by phoning the practice and speaking to our staff.

URGENT results will be communicated directly to you by your Doctor in a timely manner.

Should you have any concerns and have not received a request to follow up on your results, please make an appointment to see your Doctor.

As per practice policy our Admin staff are not authorised to offer any clinical advice or information regarding your results.
